Well another trip in our books. I always try to plan a project for our long road trips so I don’t lose my mind. This years projects was homemade autograph books using An assortment of CTMH products including one of my favorite tools Studio J. I was able to creat Picture My life cards specific for our trip making it that much easier to scrap our trip!
I can’t wait To teach this class. Is super quick, super fun and super CUTE!!
So it has been quite sometime since I posted. Life just keeps rushing by and all of the sudden the day, the week, the month is gone. I haven’t been able to create as much as I would like but I have put a few things together. I have also had a ton of internet issues so that has proved to be difficult getting photos from my camera to my computer and then to my blog. So without further ado here is my Father’s Day post a few days late.
I love the Jackson Paper. I always love brown and teal together. I wanted to design something simple to have ready for some Father’s Day pictures.
I love the way this layout came together. The Jackson picture my life cards really add to this layout. I used minimal stamping and let the papers do the talking. To bad we had a little bug on Father’s Day and I didn’t get any pictures. That’s ok I have tons of photos of my boys to get on here.
I have had my hands pretty tied up with the boys this week. Emmy started Kindergarten and she is such a big helper and the boys adore her so they have needed some extra ATTENTION! But my creative juices have started flowing again and I have needed to get some crafty things done! SO Studio J has been my go to scrapbook method the last few weeks.
Our family loves to vacation to Disney but I have gotten behind on my vacation scrapbooking so I am starting to get some of those projects caught up. I love using studio J for my Disney books so I can use Disney papers but make the colors match my kids cute outfits. Here is our most recent trip.
I love the way they turned out and have just a few more pages left to get my book caught up. I also love that I can add in my fast pass pictures directly from the disk rather than order a $20 picture from Disney. More Disney/Studio J love to come for our upcoming trip!
SO I love the first day of school pictures everyone always post. All the cute signs, cute clothes and all those darling excited faces. This will be my first year of sending a child to big school. I am so excited I loved school but man I know I am going to miss my buddy. I decided to make my own signs this year using Studio J.
I think these turned out super cute. I can’t wait for the pictures. She is so excited about school I am just hoping to not embarrass her when I drop her off that first day!
I think there is no question on my love of Studio J and how it has affected my scrapbooking and memory keeping. This summer has been so busy and when I find time to scrapbook it has to be quick, organized and I need to get a lot done at one time. Scrapbooking to me is relaxing when I can sit down and get a lot done. I also enjoy doing it while watching my favorite shows. These are some of my recent Studio J projects.
Some of my best girlfriends got to come to Pensacola for the weekend and I loved being able to get the photos scrapbooked really quick. I love being able to use my Instagram pictures because lets face it most of my pictures are on my phone these days. I also love that I could print off multiple copies of this layout to send to my girlfriends so they could have a happy. Even if they don’t have a scrapbook these layouts are fun for a wall. Stay tuned for lots more Studio J fun, I have been a busy Bee!
The new CTMH Annual Inspiration Idea Book goes live today and it is full of gorgeous new products.
The papers are amazing as usual but some of my new favorite things are the new Picture My Life Kits (Im addicted), the new Paper Fundamentals in every one of our gorgeous colors, our new card kits, and finally the most amazing markers I have ever colored with. I am like an elementary schooler again coloring everything I can get my hands on! You will not be Disappointed in this idea book and you can view it here!
I am celebrating this amazing release with a weekend of scrapbooking and sneak peaks. I still have some open spots for tomorrow if you would like to join me. Cant wait to see my scrappy ladies!
Hey all so I know several of you were following me during my week at convention. It was amazing as always. Close to My Heart wined and dined us as usual and then threw Mickey into the mix. It was AWESOME! I couldn’t wait to come home and get started back up and then, I opened my scrap room door. The crafting Gods threw up all in that room! Boxes, paper, markers, ink and kids toys everywhere. EECK! I had to start cleaning so I could get inky! Here is the before pick! Notice my darling “helper”. I managed to contain her to one area! I have made a dent but I still have a long way to go. I did manage to set up all my convention goodies so you could see all the CTMH goodness!
Can you see all the amazingness? Ribbon, embellishments and paper galore. I made 8 completed 12×12 pages, 24 cards, and a super cute bracelet! See what I mean by a crafters dream! Be on the look out for all sorts of new classes and workshops! Hope to see you soon

I am totally into Navy these days. I just love Navy and all the colors it can be combined with. So of course when I saw this Claire paper It just jumped out at me. I have made several layouts using it. It is a neat combination of colors and can really spread across several seasons.
I love our new fabrics but I really struggled with what to do with them besides making flowers. I don’t sew…let me rephrase that I can’t sew. Failed sewing class miserably! I was very thankful for this video on the textiles and some different ways to use them. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
