I love Studio J

I think there is no question on my love of Studio J and how it has affected my scrapbooking and memory keeping.  This summer has been so busy and when I find time to scrapbook it has to be quick, organized and I need to get a lot done at one time.  Scrapbooking to me is relaxing when I can sit down and get a lot done.  I also enjoy doing it while watching my favorite shows.  These are some of my recent Studio J projects.

girls_weekend_-_1 girls_weekend_-_2Some of my best girlfriends got to come to Pensacola for the weekend and I loved being able to get the photos scrapbooked really quick.  I love being able to use my Instagram pictures  because lets face it most of my pictures are on my phone these days.  I also love that I could print off multiple copies of this layout to send to my girlfriends so they could have a happy.  Even if they don’t have a scrapbook these layouts are fun for a wall.  Stay tuned for lots more Studio J fun, I have been a busy Bee!

The New Close to My Heart Catalog has Arrived!

The new CTMH Annual Inspiration Idea Book goes live today and it is full of gorgeous new products.

14-ai-idea-book-coverThe papers are amazing as usual but some of my new favorite things are the new Picture My Life Kits (Im addicted), the new Paper Fundamentals in every one of our gorgeous colors, our new card kits, and finally the most amazing markers I have ever colored with.  I am like an elementary schooler again coloring everything I can get my hands on!  You will not be Disappointed in this idea book and you can view it here!

Getting back on track!

Hey all so I know several of you were following me during my week at convention. It was amazing as always. Close to My Heart wined and dined us as usual and then threw Mickey into the mix. It was AWESOME! I couldn’t wait to come home and get started back up and then, I opened my scrap room door. The crafting Gods threw up all in that room! Boxes, paper, markers, ink and kids toys everywhere. EECK! I had to start cleaning so I could get inky! Here is the before pick! 20140706-210337-75817523.jpg Notice my darling “helper”. I managed to contain her to one area! I have made a dent but I still have a long way to go. I did manage to set up all my convention goodies so you could see all the CTMH goodness!

Close to My Heart convention 2014

I have been busy busy at convention! We received a new catalog, have seen lots of new products, and I am learning all kinds of new techniques. But more I am in one of my happy places with women I have grown to love and have so much in common with. It’s really like the sorority of the scrapbook world! I will have much more to post in the coming weeks but here are some of the new things we have been playing with.

Im Back, 7 weeks of catch up in one Blog Post!

Hi all I know I know you have missed me.  What a crazy 6 weeks I have had.  I have truly not had any free time.  I haven’t even scrapped, crafted or inked in 6 weeks GASP!  Here a is a brief recap of our last few weeks.

Mid April-Sawyer had his first virus/sickness (which at 5 months is amazing for us)  we ended up taking him to hospital for CROUP.  How is it after 3 kids I had no clue about CROUP

IMG_5516Then April 29th we had a flood.  Literally Pensacola received 27 inches of rain in a 24 hour period and many people lost Their homes.  We had property damage but no water in our home Praise God.  Our neighbors however were not so lucky.IMG_5953 IMG_5954


My baby girl turned 5 and had an amazing Frozen party.

I took a much needed vacation with some of my best girlfriends

WHEW what a crazy whirlwind life has taken us on!  Needless to say it has been super busy and I have a ton of scrapbooking to catch up on.  Be on the look out for some amazing scrapbook pages and classes coming up.

I am getting back into the swing of things and looking forward to teaching and sharing with everyone.  I have a class coming up June 19th let me know if you are interested in joining me (either in person or via mail).

Artbooking Made Easy
